With the last week of the group stage, we are not yet sure of which 4 teams will go through to the playoffs of IPL 2023. Delhi Capitals are the only team to be eliminated from the race for the playoffs. All of the remaining teams have still chances to go through to the playoffs.
Here are the scenarios for each team to go through to the playoffs:
Gujarat Titans
Gujarat Titans have qualified for the playoffs of IPL 2023 with their stellar win over Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Chennai Super Kings
CSK’s qualification scenario has got a slight problem after their loss against KKR. Now, their qualification depends on the match against DC, if they lose that too then they will have to wait for the results of the other teams.
Mumbai Indians
For MI, its a bit tough as they are stuck on 14 points with one game left against SRH. Even if they win, their NRR is too low, so they need to have other results go in their favour.
Lucknow Super Giants
With their outstanding win over MI, LSG have secured their 3rd spot. LSG have one games left against KKR. A win guarantees them the spot in playoffs and if lost they will have to rely on the other results.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
With their great win over RR and, RCB have increased their chances to go through to the playoffs. One game remaining against GT, RCB need to win that game to secure a spot in the playoffs.
Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals have ended their campaign at 14 points, Now they will have to wait for other results, i.e, MI and RCB need to lose by a margin which will reduce their NRR.
Punjab Kings
Punjab Kings have been eliminated from IPL 2023 after securing 12 points from 14 games.
Kolkata Knight Riders
Even with their win over CSK, KKR have very slight chance to go through to the playoffs. Even if they win their last game against LSG, they have a very slight chance to go through to the playoffs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
SRH have been eliminated from the IPL 2023 league stages after their loss against GT.
Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals are the first team to be eliminated from IPL 2023.
With Gujarat Titans already qualified, the race of the remaining 3 spots have increased.
