May 6: Chennai Super Kings takes on Mumbai Indians in Match 49 of the IPL 2023. Rohit Sharma did not open tonight and instead Cameron Green took the strike. But the latter’s stay on the crease was not too long, and Rohit Sharma had to be back on the pitch much earlier.

During the 4th ball of the 2nd over Rohit Sharma stepped out against Deepak Chahar and defended the ball. Immediately, MS Dhoni came to the stumps for the next ball and Rohit Sharma tried to scoop it to the fine leg, mistimed the shot and got caught off at point. Once again, MS Dhoni’s mastermind forced Rohit Sharma to try a new shot and eventually got out of the very next ball of the plan.
MS Dhoni’s captaincy has been on point and once again he proves why he is one of the greatest captains in the history of cricket.
