Delhi Capitals beat RCB by 6 wickets, staying unbeaten this season with a fourth straight win and handing Bengaluru their second home loss.

Delhi Capitals extended their unbeaten run in IPL 2025 with a dominant six-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. This marked RCB’s second home defeat of the season. Chasing a modest target, Delhi lost three wickets early and were 39/3 at the end of the Powerplay. However, KL Rahul held the innings together with a composed knock. Axar Patel provided brief support before falling at a key moment, giving RCB a glimmer of hope.

Tristan Stubbs joined Rahul, and the pair built a steady yet aggressive partnership. They rotated strike smartly and punished loose deliveries. Rahul scored a well-paced half-century. A light drizzle after the 14th over sparked acceleration, as both batters shifted gears and controlled the chase. They added valuable runs at a brisk pace and sealed the win with 13 balls remaining.

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bengaluru made a flying start against Delhi Capitals, with Phil Salt smashing a quick-fire knock that powered the team to 61 runs in under four overs. However, a miscommunication between the wickets resulted in Salt’s dismissal, sparking a sudden collapse. RCB lost five wickets for just 41 runs and found themselves struggling at 102/5. Tim David then rescued the innings with a vital late cameo, pushing the final total to 163.

Delhi’s bowlers maintained pressure throughout, with Kuldeep Yadav and Vipraj Nigam leading the attack. Both spinners picked up two wickets each, playing key roles in restricting Bengaluru and setting up a manageable target for their batters.

Delhi have now won four matches in a row and remain the only unbeaten team this season. RCB, meanwhile, will look to regroup after another disappointing home performance.
