Harbhajan Singh criticized the public chat between KL Rahul and Sanjiv Goenka, suggesting such disagreements should be resolved privately to maintain team atmosphere.
There is news around the IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants after their recent loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Ekana Cricket Stadium. Following the defeat, LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka was seen having an intense conversation with captain KL Rahul, which sparked reactions on social media.
India legend Harbhajan Singh criticized this public chat, suggesting such discussions should happen privately to avoid harming the team’s atmosphere.

“There can be differences between the captain and the management but the talks should be behind doors which is better for everyone. The talks should have been inside the dressing room. Whatever talks are going on, it is not good for the team’s atmosphere. The timing was also not right,” Harbhajan said on Star Sports.
Drawing parallels, Harbhajan Singh praised Kolkata Knight Riders’ owner Shah Rukh Khan for not interfering in cricket matters, saying it helps create a secure and positive team environment. Reflecting on his time with KKR, Harbhajan admired Khan’s approach. The former cricketer added that a good mentor ensures the team is united and on the same page.
“KKR is a great unit, huge fan of Khan sahab. Hats off to that guy, he just doesn’t interfere at all when it comes to cricket. Their dressing room looks very secure. That’s what a good mentor does, wherever he goes, to ensure that everyone is on the same page and plays as one unit. A happy team is a winning team,” Harbhajan concluded.
