ICC Awards 2024 Announcement Schedule
The ICC unveiled the complete schedule for the ICC Awards 2024, with winners in various categories set to be announced between January 24 and January 28.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the full schedule for the much-anticipated ICC Awards 2024. Earlier this month, the governing body revealed the list of nominees in several categories, with India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, Australia’s explosive batter Travis Head, and England’s seasoned Joe Root all in the running for the coveted ‘ICC Cricketer of the Year’ award.
On Thursday, January 23, the ICC confirmed the dates for the award announcements. As per the schedule, winners in three key categories will be revealed on Friday, January 24.
The announcement of the ICC Men’s and Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year awards will take place on Monday, January 27. The final day, Tuesday, January 28, will see the announcement of two of the most prestigious awards, Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year and Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year.

As the schedule indicates, the most significant awards, including the ICC Women’s and Men’s Cricketer of the Year, will be announced on January 28.
Cricketers such as Bumrah, Head, England’s Harry Brook, and Root are all competing for the ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year award. In the women’s category, Chamari Athapaththu, Amelia Kerr, Annabel Sutherland, and Laura Wolvaardt have been nominated for the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year award.
