The BCCI named the Indian squad led by Harmanpreet Kaur for the Women’s Asia Cup T20 2024 to be held in Sri Lanka.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Women’s Selection Committee named the Indian squad for the upcoming Women’s Asia Cup T20 2024 on Saturday. The marquee tournament will be held in Sri Lanka, with Dambulla set to host the matches.
Harmanpreet Kaur will continue to lead the Indian team in their quest for Asia Cup glory. The Women in Blue have been placed in Group A alongside Pakistan, the UAE, and Nepal. Their campaign kicks off on July 19th with a high-voltage clash against arch-rival Pakistan. India will then face the UAE on July 21st before concluding their group stage fixtures against Nepal on July 23rd.

Notably, the women’s cricket team has also recently created history by setting the highest-ever team total in women’s Test cricket, scoring a mammoth 603/6 against South Africa, highlighting their potential in the women’s cricket scene.
