Despite losing two days to rain, Rohit Sharma and his team turned the match around to secure a dominant 2-0 series victory against Bangladesh.

In the India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test, India secured a clean sweep over Bangladesh, winning the Test series 2-0 despite facing challenges from rain and wet conditions. After two days of disruption, the match seemed in jeopardy. Bangladesh began the final day trailing by 26 runs, with eight wickets in hand and a determination to bat long.

Shadman Islam and Najmul Hossain Shanto initially resisted Indian bowlers. However, the tide turned quickly after Shanto’s dismissal, leading to a rapid collapse from 91/3 to 94/7, ultimately ending their innings at 146. Ravindra Jadeja triggered the downfall, while Jasprit Bumrah cleaned up the tail. Chasing a modest target of 95 runs, Yashasvi Jaiswal resumed his strong performance from the first innings, scoring 51 runs.

Earlier, despite rain concerns, an action-packed 4th day unfolded with 437 runs scored and 18 wickets falling. Mominul Haque starred for Bangladesh with a solid century, but poor shot selection plagued his teammates. After bowling out Bangladesh for 233, India declared their second innings at 285 runs, securing a 52-run lead and finishing the match in style, capping off a successful series.
