In anticipation of the high-stakes match on Saturday, October 14, extensive security measures have been enacted, effectively transforming the city into a fortified stronghold. A formidable team of over 11,000 personnel from the Gujarat police, National Security Guard (NSG), Rapid Action Force (RAF), and home guards will ensure the event’s safety.
PCB chief Zaka Ashraf, invited by the BCCI, will be in attendance for this momentous clash between India and Pakistan at Ahmedabad’s stadium. Pakistan journalists have secured visas to provide coverage.
