The IPL set 7 was up for grabs as the spinners were sold to their respective franchises with Wanindu Hasaranga being sold for INR 5.25 crore to RR.
Maheesh Theekshana was the first to be sent on the table from Set 7 to fight for who was ultimately grabbed by the Rajasthan Royals at INR 4.40 Crore. Rahul Chahar was up for the auction next. Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad fought for the spinner and was ultimately bagged by the latter at INR 3.20 crore.
The Australian spinner Adam Zampa opened with his base price and was fought with the paddle between SRH and Rajasthan Royals, which was again bagged by Kavya Maran owned franchise for INR 2.40.
Sri Lanka’s veteran spinner Wanindu Hasaranga was fought minimally between the Mumbai Indians and the Rajasthan Royals and was pocketed by RR for INR 5.25 crore.
The Afghani spinner Waqar Salamkheil remained unsold whereas his teammate Noor Ahmad was fought between MI and CSK on the bidding table, only for CSK to bag him up for INR 5 crore.
