Mumbai Indians achieved a historic 150th IPL win with a 54-run victory, becoming the first team to reach this milestone, while extending their winning streak to five matches.

Mumbai Indians secured a dominant 54-run win over Lucknow Super Giants, marking their fifth consecutive victory and moving to second place in the IPL standings. Batting first, MI set a strong total of 215/7, thanks to strong contributions from Ryan Rickelton and Suryakumar Yadav. Both players scored half-centuries, while Naman Dhir and Cemron Bosch provided valuable cameos to push the total beyond 200.

With the ball, MI’s bowlers were clinical. Jasprit Bumrah led the charge, claiming 4 wickets, while Trent Boult took 3. Boult also reached a milestone of 50 wickets for MI in the IPL. Will Jacks contributed with 2 wickets, dismissing Pooran and Pant in the same over. Bumrah also became MI’s all-time leading wicket-taker in the IPL.

Lucknow Super Giants struggled to pick up early wickets, with only Rohit Sharma falling early. The remaining batters made it difficult for the bowlers. With good contributions from Mitchell Marsh, Nicholas Pooran, and Ayush Badoni, Lucknow reached 103/3 at the 10-over mark. However, Marsh’s dismissal led to a collapse, and several batters failed to convert their starts. Four players got good starts but couldn’t capitalize, which ultimately cost Lucknow the game.
