New Zealand Cricket revealed a busy summer schedule featuring series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan alongside the Test series against England.
New Zealand Cricket unveiled a busy summer schedule for both their men’s and women’s teams, featuring white-ball series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan alongside the previously announced ICC World Test Championship series against England.
The cricketing action kicks off in late November and continues until early April. The centerpiece of the men’s schedule is the three-match World Test Championship series against England, starting in Christchurch on November 28th.
Sandwiched around this key Test series, the Black Caps will be involved in white-ball cricket. They will play Sri Lanka in a series before and after the new year, followed by an eight-match white-ball series against Pakistan in mid-March.
This hectic white-ball schedule comes on top of a confirmed tri-series against South Africa and Pakistan in February, leading up to the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan.
The White Ferns, New Zealand’s women’s team, also have a jam-packed summer ahead. They will face arch-rivals Australia in a three-match ODI series in Australia in September before heading to Bangladesh for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in October.

The trans-Tasman rivalry continues on New Zealand soil during the summer. The White Ferns will play three ODIs and three T20Is against Australia in December and March, respectively.
Sri Lanka will also tour New Zealand in March, with a six-match white-ball series planned. An interesting addition to the schedule is the inclusion of double-headers at many venues. This means fans can enjoy a White Ferns match followed by a Black Caps match on the same day during the latter part of the summer.
