RCB broke their 84-day silence after the Bengaluru stampede by launching ‘RCB Cares’ on social media to support victims and honor fans.
Nearly three months after the Bengaluru stampede that claimed 11 lives and injured 56 outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have resumed activity on social media. The tragedy occurred during the franchise’s title-winning celebrations, leading to an investigation ordered by the Karnataka government.
An FIR was filed against RCB, the event organizer, and the Karnataka State Cricket Association for conducting the programme without police clearance and ignoring safety instructions.
