Earlier, a widely circulated video had captured Rohit rebuking his teammates, urging them to maintain focus and refrain from distractions, asking them not to ‘walk around in the garden.’
His vocal exertion took a toll on his throat, nearly causing him to lose his voice while fielding on Day 4 of the Visakhapatnam Test. In another instance caught on the stump mic, Rohit candidly expressed his discomfort, lamenting, “Mere gale ka watt lag gaya hai chilla chilla ke tum logo ko,” translating to “I am losing my voice having to shout at you guys so much.”
