Indian skipper Rohit Sharma faced criticism from fans on X for his continued poor form in Tests after being cleaned up by James Anderson on Day 3 of the second Test against England.
On Day 3 of the second Test against England in Vizag, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma’s struggles in Test cricket persisted as he fell victim to James Anderson’s delivery, getting out for just 13 runs off 21 balls. Anderson’s seam-bowling mastery was evident as the delivery angled in before moving away at the last moment, dislodging Rohit’s off-stump.
Rohit has now gone seven consecutive completed Test innings without reaching a half-century. This downturn in form is surprising, given his impressive performances in the West Indies Tests and the latter part of the ODI World Cup last year. Despite having an impressive home Test average of over 62 before this series, Rohit Sharma has struggled with the bat, averaging only 22.50 in four innings so far.
Although India currently holds a dominant position in the ongoing Test, with credit to Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jasprit Bumrah’s outstanding contributions, Rohit faced criticism on Twitter, with some fans even suggesting retirement from Test cricket.

Numbers and milestones are overrated so rohit sharma decided to go back to pavillion. The only time he looks confident in red ball is when he's abusing his teammates
Enough rohit sharma ithink he needs a break from test #INDvENG

Rohit Sharma needs a long break and go back to the basics if he wants to continue at international level as a player. May be a good ambassador for Lakshydeep to promote tourism. He can make money there.
