“The Men’s Selection Committee named Shivam Dube as replacement for the injured Nitish Reddy in India’s squad for the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe,” the official release read.
“The BCCI Medical Team is monitoring Nitish Reddy’s progress,” it added.
India is scheduled to face Zimbabwe in a five-match T20I series in Harare, starting on July 6, 2024. Meanwhile, Dube is currently playing in the ongoing T20 World Cup in the USA and the Caribbean, where India is preparing to take on England in the second semi-final scheduled for Thursday in Georgetown, Guyana.
