At just 14 years old, Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed a 35-ball century in the IPL, making it the second-fastest in the tournament’s history.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi created history during the ongoing RR vs GT match by smashing his maiden IPL century at just 14 years old. Chasing 210, Suryavanshi reached his hundred in only 35 balls, hitting 11 sixes along the way. He reached his fifty off 17 balls and became the youngest player to score an IPL fifty.

Suryavanshi launched a brutal assault from the start, especially against Ishant Sharma. His attacking innings helped Rajasthan Royals race to 87 without loss in six overs and 100 in just eight. His milestone came with a towering six over deep mid-wicket, sending the crowd into celebration.

However, Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s brilliant innings came to an end in the next over as Prasidh Krishna bowled him out for 101 off 38 balls. The 14-year-old received a standing ovation from the crowd after his record-breaking knock. Prasidh delivered a perfect yorker at the stumps, and Suryavanshi was late to bring his bat down, allowing the ball to crash into the timber

Vaibhav, who made his IPL debut earlier this season against Lucknow Super Giants, had already impressed by scoring 34 runs in his first match.
