Hardik Pandya dominated the Indian batting performance in their warm-up match against Bangladesh with a 40-run knock including a hat-trick of sixes.
Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya was the star of the show in India’s warm-up match against Bangladesh at the Nassau County Stadium in New York on Saturday, delighting the Indian crowd present.
Pandya’s heroics came against Bangladeshi bowler Tanvir Islam, whom he hammered for a stunning hat-trick of sixes. The big hits went over long-off, long-on, and deep mid-wicket, sending the Indian fans into a frenzy. Watch the video below:
India won the toss and elected to bat first in their only warm-up game before the ICC T20 World Cup. Captain Rohit Sharma opened alongside Sanju Samson, but Samson was dismissed cheaply for just one run, leaving India with 11 runs on the board after losing their first wicket.
Rishabh Pant and Rohit steadied the innings with a partnership before Rohit departed for 23 runs. Pant continued to bat well and reached fifty before retiring hurt.

Shivam Dube added 14 runs before being dismissed by Mahedi Hasan. Suryakumar Yadav also chipped in with a brisk 31 runs off 18 deliveries before falling to Islam.
Pandya anchored the later stages of the innings, finishing unbeaten on 40 runs from just 22 balls. Ravindra Jadeja provided unbeaten support at the other end, scoring 4 runs. India finished their innings with a strong total of 182 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
