However, she did not mince words when it came to addressing Harmanpreet’s conduct during the post-match press conference. She expressed her disappointment, stating Harmanpreet “could have shown better manners.”

In response to Harmanpreet’s actions and comments, Nigar Sultana emphasized that players should uphold a certain level of decorum on the field. She remarked, “It’s what she did and we have nothing to do about it. But as a player, she should have spoken with a bit of manners.”
Harmanpreet Kaur’s actions, which included smashing the stumps with her bat after her dismissal and making critical remarks against the umpires, have not gone unnoticed. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has taken a firm stance on her behavior, imposing a hefty fine of 75% of her match fee and handing her four demerit points.
