During South Africa’s chase at Boland Park, Paarl, when Keshav Maharaj, batting at number 8, stepped onto the field, a Hindu devotional song ‘Ram Siya Ram’ played.
KL Rahul, noticing this trend, amusingly informed Maharaj that the DJ consistently plays the song whenever the South African enters to bat. Rahul humorously inquired if the tune is also aired when Maharaj bowls, to which the spinner nodded affirmatively, captured by the stump mic. “Keshav bhai, every time you come, they play this song,” Rahul remarked.

South Africa’s innings concluded at 218 in 45.5 overs, conceding a 2-1 series win to India.
