“India will win the World Cup. They will start as favorites in the final. They have played outstandingly well and they don’t have to do anything different. They just have to carry on from where they left in the last few games,” Shastri said when speaking to the media.
“This team does not depend on one or two players. There have been 8-9 players performing game after game. So that is a brilliant sign,” he added.
