Mohammad Rizwan’s outstanding performance saw him take a fantastic catch, diving low to grab the ball and dismiss Alex Carey caught behind.
On the second day of the Boxing Day Test between Australia and Pakistan, Mohammad Rizwan displayed brilliance by grabbing a phenomenal low catch to dismiss Alex Carey. Rizwan executed a stunning dive to his non-dominant side, managing to clutch the ball just as Carey got an inside edge on his drive.
This exceptional catch left former Australian keeper Adam Gilchrist impressed, labeling it as an exceptional effort. “That is top shelf from Rizwan,” Gilchrist said on Fox Cricket.
Consequently, Carey was sent back to the pavilion, securing Shahid Afridi his second wicket of the match as Carey walked off the field.

On the match front, Pakistan’s fielding performance in the first innings displayed a blend of highs and lows. Led by Shaheen Shah Afridi’s bowling, they limited Australia to 318 runs on Day 2. Despite a shaky start, Rizwan and Salman Agha stood out with their impressive fielding, making crucial catches.
However, Pakistan faced early challenges when Salman Agha dropped Warner on Day 1. Their outfield performance notably improved in the latter stages, with commendable running catches. Yet, the team struggled with extras, conceding 52 runs, marking the highest extras ever given in a single innings at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
