Nicholas Pooran lighted up the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium with a stunning display, smashing a hat-trick of sixes, including a colossal 106-meter maximum during the RCB vs LSG IPL 2024 clash.
In the IPL 2024 match between RCB and LSG at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Nicholas Pooran delivered a standout performance, matching Venkatesh Iyer’s record for the longest six of the season with a colossal 106-meter strike off Reece Topley’s delivery.
Pooran’s aggressive approach saw him smash five sixes and a four en route to a vital cameo of 40 runs from just 21 deliveries for Lucknow Super Giants.
However, it was his hat-trick of sixes against Topley in the penultimate over that stole the show, with the final hit soaring over the deep mid-wicket boundary and landing an astonishing 106 meters away on the stadium roof.

On the match front, Nicholas Pooran provided Lucknow with the much-needed push towards the end of the innings. The last overs saw 33 runs being added, taking Lucknow to a total of 181.
Quinton de Kock set the tone with aggressive batting, while KL Rahul followed suit but was dismissed in the process. After the field restrictions were lifted, the pace slowed, and the departure of Devdutt Padikkal further slowed the momentum. However, de Kock found support in Marcus Stoinis, and together they accelerated the scoring rate. Despite de Kock and Stoinis falling within three overs, Pooran stepped up to ensure Lucknow finished strongly.
