In the 60th over of the ongoing South Africa versus New Zealand 2nd test match, a remarkable moment unfolded as Keegan Petersen was dismissed by Matt Henry. Glenn Phillips, known for his exceptional fielding, pulled off a sensational catch at gully to break the partnership.
Petersen attempted a powerful cut shot, but the ball flew towards gully where Phillips displayed incredible reflexes, diving to his right to catch the ball with one hand. Phillips had also taken a similar catch in the first innings, this time to his left to dismiss Clyde Fortuin.

Petersen was dismissed for 43, but Bedingham achieved his maiden test century shortly thereafter. Phillips then made an impact with the ball, removing Ruan de Swardt. He also dismissed Dane Piedt, caught sharply by Tim Southee, as South Africa’s last six wickets fell for just 33 runs.
In his debut test, Will O’Rourke secured a five-wicket haul, claiming 5-34 to add to his 4-59 in the first innings. His match figures of 9-93 marked the best performance by a New Zealand debutant in test history.
The Black Caps face a challenging chase, needing 267 runs in just over two days to secure their first series win over South Africa.
