Sri Lanka’s Kusal Perera and Pathum Nissanka had set a strong foundation with a 125-run opening partnership before Pat Cummins made the breakthrough.
David Warner showcased his fielding skills by taking a spectacular diving catch to dismiss Nissanka for 61. He wasn’t done there, as he also secured the wicket of Sri Lankan captain Kusal Mendis with an impressive running catch after Mendis had scored just 9 runs.
