Rohit Sharma playfully advised Ravindra Jadeja to adopt a T20 mindset and avoid bowling no balls after the spinner’s two no-balls in the 31st over of England’s first innings.
During the third Test against England at Rajkot, Rohit Sharma’s witty banter was on display as he humorously advised Ravindra Jadeja to adopt a T20 mindset after Jadeja bowled two no-balls.
Positioned at first slip, the stump mic captured him joking with Jadeja, urging him to refrain from bowling no balls in a manner typical of T20 cricket.
“Jaddu samajh ye T20 hai, idhar no balls allowed nahi hai (Jaddu, think it’s a T20 game. No balls are not allowed here)”, Rohit was caught saying.
In the ongoing Test match, Ben Duckett’s unbeaten 133 propelled the visitors towards India’s total of 445 by the end of play on February 16th. England, at stumps, reached 207-2, trailing by 238 runs.
However, India faced a setback as off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin achieved his 500th Test wicket but later withdrew due to a family emergency, leaving India with 10 players.
