A video clip captured KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan apologising to JioCinema Live anchors for accidentally interrupting the show during the victory lap.
The Kolkata Knight Riders camp was filled with celebrations on Tuesday night. Having clinched a spot in the 2024 IPL finals with a convincing victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 1 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, co-owner Shah Rukh Khan could not contain his excitement.
Carried away by the celebratory atmosphere, Khan embarked on a victory lap around the stadium, eager to share the joy with the roaring crowd. However, his celebratory walk took a hilarious detour when he unwittingly strayed into the live broadcast zone of JioCinema. Aakash Chopra, Parthiv Patel, and Suresh Raina, who were conducting the post-match show, were left momentarily speechless as Khan walked right between them and the camera. Watch the video below:
The ever-graceful superstar, though, quickly recognized his mistake. With a warm smile and folded hands, he offered his sincerest apologies to the commentary panel before gracefully exiting the frame and continuing his celebratory lap. This lighthearted moment perfectly captured the electrifying atmosphere of the night, adding a touch of heartwarming humour to the KKR’s triumphant journey to the finals.
