Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) secured a thrilling victory over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 27 runs at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, booking their place in the IPL 2024 playoffs. Chasing a target of 219 runs, CSK fell short despite a valiant late fightback.
The win was particularly emotional for RCB captain Virat Kohli, who was seen shedding tears after the match. This victory marks a remarkable turnaround for RCB, which climbed from 10th place to playoff qualification within just 15 days.
