Popular YouTuber IShowSpeed, amid his visit to India, created a social media buzz as he met BCCI’s Jay Shah during the India vs. Pakistan clash at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
On October 14, at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, India and Pakistan clashed in the 12th match of the 2023 World Cup, where India secured a commanding 7-wicket victory. With this win, India marked their third consecutive win in the tournament and their 8th World Cup triumph over Pakistan. Led by captain Rohit Sharma, India displayed exceptional bowling skills after winning the toss and choosing to field. Pakistan managed a mere 191 runs before being bowled out. India gracefully chased down the target, losing only 3 wickets.
Notably, American YouTuber and ardent Virat Kohli fan, Darren Jason Watkins Jr., known as IShowSpeed, was among the spectators at the stadium. He created a buzz on social media during his visit to India when he attended the India vs. Pakistan match at the stadium. In a recently surfaced video, he approached Jay Shah, the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), for a quick selfie but was initially declined as Shah seemed rushed.

However, they crossed paths again inside the stadium, exchanged handshakes, and in a light-hearted moment, IShowSpeed referred to Indian cricketer Virat Kohli as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time).
