West Indies

Although the Windies did not get a chance to bat in the first t20, they dominated at the 2nd t20 vs Bangladesh. Their high scorers included Brandon King (57 on 43), Nicholas Pooran (  34 on 30) and the man of the match Rovman Powell (61 off 28). Windies has always been known to have extraordinary power hitters, Rovman has proved just to be that. Their reliable batsmen are Rovmann Powell, Nicholas Pooran, Kyle Mayers and Brandon King who are capable of hitting big and leading their team to win. They are expected to do so in the upcoming t20 match.

13 overs were bowled in the first t20 where Romario Shepherd proved to be the best bowler for the Windies. He bowled 3 overs, took 3 wickets with an economy of 7. One key bowler in form can pave the way to victory for their team, Romario is expected to carry this form and destroy the Bangladesh line-up in the 3rd t20. The second match also showed Romario as the most vital bowler for the Windies, with 2 wickets in 4 overs and an economy of 7. Hayden Walsh though grabbed no wicket but kept the economy low to 5.75, contributing to the bowling performance. These two are the bowlers in limelight for the Windies. Other bowlers went a bit expensive as compared to these. Windies has a better batting line up than bowling.

Bangladesh had a poor performance in the 1st t20, with the highest score 29 of an individual player, Shakib Al Hasan. There was an average score of 5 by the other players and they managed to set a low target of 105/8 in 13 overs. Anamul Haque and Nurul Hasan contributed 16 and 25 respectively. In the second t20, again Shakib Al Hasan was the highest scorer for Bangladesh, with an improved score of 68 on 52. He was supported by Afif Hossain (34 off 27). Bangladesh could only manage 158/6 in 20 overs, giving Windies a win.

Bangladesh needs to have consistent performances other than Shakib Al Hasan. Mohamadullah, Litton Das, Anamul Haque and Afif Hossain should execute better if they want a good score in the 3rd t20.

Bangladesh’s bowling has also been very average. In the 2nd t20, Windies managed to score 193/5 against them. The bowlers went for an average economy of 10.0 with Taskin proving to be the most expensive, economy of 15.33. Bangladeshi bowlers need to strategise before every ball and execute accordingly. They should read the pitch and since it’s going to be damp in the 3rd t20, pacers would be effective in it. Overall performance of Bangladesh hasn’t been upto the mark and they are being destroyed by the home team. However, there is still hope for them to bounce back as they have experienced players.

Probable Best Batsman of the Match

Rovman Powell

The big man is in form of hitting big, being the man of the match in the previous t20, he would be looking forward to score huge in the 3rd t20 too and lead the team to victory.

Probable the Best Bowler of the Match

Romario Shepherd

The Right Arm fast medium bowler is capable of delivering every ball with strategized execution.

West Indies vs Bangladesh Match Predictions & Tips – 3rd Test – Winner Prediction:

The Windies have an upper hand of winning the series. They have previously dominated against Bangladesh in the test series and defeated them in the 2nd t20. They come with high morale in the upcoming match. However, there can always be a change in the game, Bangladesh if executed better, might manage to grab a win.
