The seventh match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will see Lahore Qalandars take on Multan Sultans at the National Stadium in Karachi on 26th February.

The striking battle between the two is scheduled to start at 03:30 PM IST, and it will be aired live on Sony Ten 2 and Sony Ten 2 HD.

Preview: Lahore Qalandars vs Multan Sultans, 7th Match

Lahore Qalandars come into the game on the back of a win against Peshawar Zalmi at the National Stadium. In their previous match, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to bowl first. Batting in the first innings, Peshawar Zalmi went on to post a total of 140 on the board, owing to Ravi Bopara’s amazing knock of 50 runs off 44 balls. In reply, the Qalandars elegantly chased the target thanks to Mohammed Hafeez, Ben Dunk, and Rashid Khan’s double-digit scores. Here, Wahab Riaz and Saqib Mahmood accounted for two wickets each at an economy rate of 7.50 and 5.50 respectively.

Multan Sultans, on the other hand, failed to stop their opponents in their first PSL 2021 match. In their previous encounter against Islamabad United, Shadab Khan and Co. won the toss and opted to bowl first. Batting first, the Sultans managed to post a good total of 150 runs, all thanks to Mohammad Rizwan’s spell-bounding knock of 71 runs off just 53 balls. However, Multan Sultans failed to stop Islamabad United at National Stadium and lost their first game of the sixth PSL edition.

Man of the match prediction

Mohammad Rizwan is in great form and is the likely prospect for the man of the match title in the next game.

Winner prediction

Lahore Qalandars elegantly posted a victory in their first PSL match, whereas Multan Sultans lost their first PSL 2021 game despite the likes of Mohammad Rizwan, Chris Lynn, and Shahid Afridi in the squad.
