June 14: In a bizarre incident, Ravichandran Ashwin reviews a review in TNPL 2023, Match 4. In the last over of the 13th over, R Rajkumar was given caught behind off Ashwin’s bowling and the umpire gave it out. The batter reviewed it immediately, and the third umpire revised the original decision and gave him not out. Ravichandran Ashwin was not happy with the third umpire’s review and he challenged it by giving a review on it. The third umpire stood to his decision and in the end the decision was not-out.
This was a bizarre incident, where a player challenged a review decision from the third-umpire.
