June 7: The World Test Championship 2023 final has kicked off today. India won the toss and elected to field first. Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj started off great and the latter got the wicket of Usman Khawaja for 0(10).
Marnus Labuschagne got in earlier than he would have expected. He was looking his groove and was in good touch. In the first ball of the 8th over, Mohammed Siraj bowled a fiery bouncer and Marnus Labuschagne got hit on his left thumb. He was seen in great pain, and the medical staff had to come in to help him out. After some medical assistance, he was back and continued to play in his great touch.
