MS Dhoni displayed rare frustration as he snapped at the cameraman because of the constant camera focus during the CSK vs LSG match.
Chennai Super Kings fans witnessed a rare sight during their IPL 2024 clash against the Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday night. Former captain MS Dhoni, known for his calm approach and behaviour, appeared to express frustration with the constant camera focus on him.
While observing the match from the dressing room, Dhoni was repeatedly singled out by the TV cameras, much to the delight of the Chepauk crowd, which erupted in cheers each time his face appeared on the giant screen. However, Dhoni seemed to have had enough of the attention.
In a brief moment caught on camera, Dhoni playfully gestured as if throwing a water bottle towards the cameraman. This action suggests he was not thrilled with the constant spotlight. Watch the video below:
Dhoni eventually entered the match with just two deliveries remaining in the CSK innings after Shivam Dube’s dismissal. Stepping in at the last minute, he managed a four off the final ball, satisfying the fans who yearned to see him bat.
CSK, however, fell short of securing victory despite posting a challenging total of 210 runs. Lucknow Super Giants’ all-rounder Marcus Stoinis stole the show with a phenomenal knock of 124 runs off just 63 balls, powering his team to a respectable win.
