Tammy Beaumont created history by becoming the first Women batter to score a double hundred in the Ashes history. She also became the first English batter and overall the 8th player to score a double hundred in Women’s Test cricket.

Tammy Beaumont scored an outstanding 208 runs off 331 balls which included 27 boundaries. She was in an excellent form against the mighty Aussies in the only Ashes 2023 test.

An innings full of discipline, calmness, and confidence from Tammy Beaumont helped England to reach 463 runs in the first innings which is just 10 runs shy of Australia’s first innings total.

After she got out, all Australian players went to Tammy Beaumont to congratulate her on the outstanding knock from the England batter.
