In preparation for the Asia Cup 2023 in Sri Lanka, the Indian cricket team is assembling under the guidance of coach Rahul Dravid in Bangalore.

A highlight was Virat Kohli’s airport journey to the camp, where he engaged with fans by taking selfies, notably with an ardent supporter sporting a t-shirt adorned with multiple Kohli images. This humble interaction quickly gained traction, resonating with fans and going viral across social media platforms, showcasing Kohli’s approachable nature and endearing him to cricket enthusiasts.

Numerous reports confirm that the comprehensive five-day skill-enhancement camp will encompass the complete Asia Cup squad, the coaching unit helmed by ex-captain Rahul Dravid, and members of the new selection committee led by Ajit Agarkar. To ensure high-quality net sessions, 14 net bowlers have been enlisted.

Expected to join the camp on August 25 are Indian players Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna, Sanju Samson, and Tilak Varma, triumphant in a 2-0 victory over Ireland in a three-T20I series (with the final match marred by rain).

Following the Asia Cup squad revelation, Rohit conveyed his enthusiasm for comprehensive “skill-based training” with the entire team.
