The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 full fixture and group divisions have been revealed.
The stage is set for another exciting edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, with Bangladesh hosting the tournament in October this year.
The teams have been divided into two groups. Group A features a star-studded line-up with Australia, their arch-rivals India (runners-up in 2020), Trans-Tasman neighbours New Zealand, and Pakistan. Group B, on the other hand, pits the hosts, Bangladesh, against South Africa (runners-up in the last edition), England, and the two-time champions, the West Indies.
Group A: Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Qualifier 1
Group B: South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Qualifier 2
Each team will face each other once in their respective groups, totalling four matches per team. The top two teams from each group will then progress to the high-pressure semi-finals scheduled for October 17th and 18th. The winners of the semi-finals will clash in the grand finale on October 20th in Dhaka, aiming to lift the coveted trophy.
