KKR’s Rinku Singh was spotted happily flaunting his new bat gifted by RCB’s Virat Kohli after persistently requesting it since their match on April 21.
After playfully chiding Rinku Singh for accidentally breaking the bat he received from Virat Kohli during an IPL match, Kohli surprised the Kolkata Knight Riders player with a heartwarming gesture. Rinku had been eagerly requesting a replacement bat from Kohli since their encounter at Eden Gardens on April 21. In a viral video before their Kolkata clash, the KKR batter was seen appealing to Kohli for a new bat, explaining that the previous one broke while facing a spinner.

Despite Kohli’s initial teasing, Rinku persisted, even approaching Kohli after the match. Eventually, his persistence paid off when he proudly displayed the bat gifted by Kohli.
KKR expressed gratitude to Virat Kohli for gifting Rinku Singh another bat, captioning their post on X with “Mil gaya bat Rinku ko! Virat bhai Thank you.” In the video, a fan asked Rinku about the new bat, and he happily showed it off, beaming with joy.

In the match between KKR and RCB, Rinku Singh contributed 24 runs from 16 balls in KKR’s narrow one-run victory over RCB at Eden Gardens. Skipper Shreyas Iyer led the charge with a half-century, supported by Andre Russell’s late fireworks, propelling KKR to a formidable 222-6.
Despite Kohli’s efforts, his dismissal sparked controversy, while Will Jacks and Rajat Patidar’s impressive knocks couldn’t prevent RCB from falling short by just one run, finishing at 221 in 20 overs.
